In these challenging times, we all are looking for ways to take care of ourselves and manage stress. The Seva Stress Release* is a simple and profoundly effective tool for calming the body, mind, emotions and spirit—helping the whole being relax and regroup. The Seva Stress Release uses combinations of 15 key acupressure points applied with gentle pressure. It’s easy to learn, takes just minutes to practice, and can be used in almost any setting.

During this workshop, you’ll learn about the transformative power of acupressure and experience the Seva Stress Release through demonstration and hands-on practice. Throughout the day, you’ll have the chance to interact with the Blue Rider equines, as we explore body-mind awareness and build empowerment in relation to one’s own health and well-being. You’ll go home with techniques for self-care you can use for the rest of your life.

Donna Gallers is a NYC-based licensed massage therapist & health coach who currently works with veterans at Brooklyn’s VA Hospital. She has led workshops for over 15 years, and has been involved with Blue Rider since 2003.

“Seva” is a Sanskrit word meaning “Compassionate Service.”  The Seva Stress Release was developed following the events of 9/11 as a gift to the world to relieve suffering. Horses also offer compassionate service in their relationships with humans. They are highly sensitive listeners and teachers who often show us what we need to learn to heal ourselves.
