Without our volunteers’ hard work and dedication, our mission — to offer a holistic educational environment, in which people and animals can safely interact, and through their mutual therapeutic experiences, broaden the scope of their lives — would be no more than words on paper.
There are many ways you can volunteer to help. We rely on volunteers to assist with lessons and horse care.

Qualities of a Blue Rider Volunteer:
- Volunteers must be able to work independently with minimal staff supervision.
- Volunteering to help in the Lesson Program, Horse Care and/or Facility involves moderate physical activity. Please be sure you are comfortable with the physical aspects of the role you select.
- Volunteers should demonstrate a commitment to education, teamwork, serving the community, leadership and innovation.
- Volunteers must be over the age of 14. If you are younger than 14, we would love to invite you to participate in our helper program.
