Learn about horse chores and care, have snack and social time with other students, and finish with a 1/2 hour riding lesson and feeding the animals.
Our Helper Program is a progressive curriculum where students learn about grooming, feeding, barn safety, how horses see and hear, daily horse care, and much more. Students will begin at the most basic level and be given the opportunity to progress through the levels, from learning to safely interact with horses to being able to safely and confidently care for a horse of their own. Each session includes a mounted lesson.
