Sophia started at Blue Rider in the summer of 2024 after graduating from Bard College with a degree in fine arts. Originally from Northern California, her past experience as a trail guide on the Sonoma coast is a long way from what she does now. Sophia started riding at an early age. Growing up on the coast, she led beach rides and worked seasonally as a ranch hand. Sophia feels most comfortable on the ground with horses, assisting in lessons and tending to the needs of the horses and our property.
