Walk, ride, swim bike to raise money for your favorite equine, with prizes and fun get together at the end.
Our youngest member of the team would like to get sponsored for sleeping through everything while the guardian donkeys watch over her!
Willie Wonka was a beloved part of our herd that we lost to colic in 2021. He was a constant in our herd, keeping everyone together and happy. In his memory we are asking for supporters to ride, walk, run, bike, skate, etc. Each participant will collect sponsors who may donate for each mile or lap completed or give a flat donation. Participants can create teams and wow us with movement goals. All money collected will be used for the healthcare of the herd, a cost which can run at least $40,000 in a year.
Participate by signing up (link here to form) to walk, ride, swim, bike, dance, etc. to raise money for your favorite equine. Once you have defined your goal, get sponsors to support you in your efforts.
Prizes will be given for:
Most money earned
Most sponsors
Most distance (difficulty) achieved
Biggest goal
Youngest/oldest participant
Biggest team goal achieved.
Anything else we can think of giving prizes for!
We will gather on November 2 at the barn for a bonfire and congratulations. We hope many sponsors will join us to celebrate. This is also the date for our Pasture Walk – come get to know where our horses spend their time when they are not working. Be a part of this amazing Blue Rider community!!
